A Message From The Callier Center
The Callier Center is grateful for the advocacy and support of ChandlerSpeaks. Through the generosity of ChandlerSpeaks, our partnership will give children who could not otherwise access clinical care the opportunity to receive critical treatment. All gifts made through ChandlerSpeaks will directly support pediatric speech-language clinical care at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders.
Callier Cares: Creating the Ability to Connect
Communication is the foundation of strong, meaningful relationships – to hear and be heard, to understand and be understood. Relationships give our lives meaning and purpose through family, friendship and community. When a person cannot hear, speak or understand, it is difficult to communicate, to relate to or connect with another person. A communication disorder is a barrier to forming a relationship. The Callier Center for Communication Disorders transforms the lives of children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders by helping them to communicate, and thus, attain meaningful relationships at home, at school, at work and in the community.

To transform the lives of those with communication disorders by providing outstanding, leading-edge clinical services, conducting meaningful and innovative basic and applied research into new treatments and technologies, and training the next generation of caring clinical providers.
About the Callier Center
For more than half a century, the Callier Center for Communication Disorders at The University of Texas at Dallas has transformed the lives of children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders by giving them the ability to communicate and connect. Callier is one of a select few communication disorders centers in the nation that combine clinical care, graduate student training and research within one institution. Their comprehensive approach to care through treatment, training and research allows them to serve their patients at the highest level. These three pursuits collaborate to transcend the norm and ensure the best outcomes for people with communication disorders.
Callier’s audiology and speech-language pathology clinic provides more than 40,000 clinical services annually to treat a wide variety of communication disorders including: language delay, articulation delay, motor speech disorders (apraxia, dysarthria), fluency disorders, oral-motor/feeding disorders, auditory/language processing disorders, hearing impairment, autism spectrum disorders, brain injury and other neurological disorders, and social communication disorders. They also provide hearing evaluations, hearing protective devices, hearing aids, treatment for tinnitus and hyperacusis, and the cochlear implant program for children ages 0-18.
The Callier Center is a premier national destination for the education of students pursuing careers in communication sciences and disorders. The center’s graduate programs in audiology and speech-language pathology rank No. 4 and No. 12 in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report.

The Holland Foundation started because of the GENEROSITY OF A FAMILY who saw the impact that speech therapy made in the life of their child.
We hope the Holland Foundation grows to reach many individuals & families who cannot afford the extent of services that would PROPEL THEM TO SUCCESSFUL COMMUNICATION.
